The Birdhouse Spy Cam allows anyone to have a wildlife cam in their own backyard. Birdhouse Spy Cam offers two
live-action, video cameras for wildlife monitoring. The first is the Night Owl, a
black-and-white video camera that
has infrared diodes (invisible light) that allow day and night viewing in nest boxes and other low-light areas. The second is the Red
Robin, a color video camera for around bird feeders, baths, or anywhere wildlife congregates. Each has a
microphone, so you can hear as well as see what’s going on.
Simply plug either camera into your television and see and hear a new side of animal behavior. Or better yet,
use your VCR to tape the action.
Night Owl Video Camera ($85): This incredibly small video camera connects to your television to give you a bird's-eye
view of the activity in any birdhouse, nest box, or other low-light area. The camera's six infrared lights bathe the area
in invisible light for nighttime viewing without disturbing the residents. A generous 100' plug-and-play cable lets you easily
reach well away from the house (100' extension cables are also available). A built-in microphone allows you to listen as well as see.
Red Robin Video Camera ($120): This miniature, color video camera gives a close-up view of what goes on around your
bird feeders, bird baths or wherever wildlife congregates. This camera can be mounted just about anywhere, giving you a crisp,
vibrantly colored view.
It's built-in microphone lets you hear, as well as see, what's happening. The Red Robin comes with 60' of cable (25' and 100' extension cables are also available).
Note: The Red Robin is NOT intended for use inside a nest box. The camera's
technology needs more light than a nestbox can provide.
Watch a video clip (3MB Windows Media File) from the Night Owl Video Camera showing a family of owls during nesting season. Or
watch a video clip (3MB Windows Media File) from the Red Robin Video Camera
showing a hummingbird at a feeder.

Just Eagles
hardcover book, 126 pages - $29.50
Back Cover Description: "Just Eagles celebrates the bald eagle's majestic beauty and power with photographs and text
that take you up into the treetops for an intimate view of eagle family life, then soaring on
an eagle's first flight, and all across the continent, from Alaska to Maine to Florida, to see
and understand the lives of eagles. The text tells you how to find, watch, and photograph eagles
without disturbing them. To deepen your understanding, the author fills you in on how bald eagles
mate and raise their young, what they eat, and when and where they migrate, while pointing out
the bird's unique features: the famous eagle eyes, strong talons, and extraordinary hunting
abilities of this amazing bird of prey."

Quiet Please-Eaglets Growing
hardcover book, 30 pages - $11.95
(children ages 4-8)
With beautiful illustrations by
David Aiken, Carolyn Stearns tells the story of a young boy who watches a pair of eagles as they nest in
a stand of oak trees on the property near his school. When the land is sold to a company that wants to
build condominiums, the boy wonders what will happen to the eagle family. Eventually, he and his classmates
convince many people in the community to become involved in a plan to save the eagles' nesting site. The
story is appealing for its look at the remarkable bird that is America's national emblem. At the same time,
children are encouraged to learn that their voices can be heard.
