Welcome to the Osprey Cam Web Log!
As we enter our fourth season of running the Osprey Cam at Blackwater, we felt it was time to establish a more permanent method for communicating with our loyal cam watchers, and the result is the creation of the Osprey Cam Web Log. 
A web log (or blog) is basically an online journal where posts are published and then archived for later viewing. The Osprey Cam Web Log will be updated on a weekly basis with news and information about the Osprey Cam at Blackwater Refuge. In addition, we will also publish a "Pic of the Week" photo, as well as web links that will be of interest to our visitors.
If you have specific questions that you've wanted to ask about the cam, the ospreys, or Blackwater Refuge, please feel free to submit them via our Contact page on our web site. We will try to publish the answers here.
Also, visitors can continue to submit their Osprey Cam photos to our gallery. If you need instructions on how to capture and submit photos from the cam, please visit our Submit page.
The 2004 Osprey Cam season is already off to a promising start as the ospreys have been mating on the nest (see the "Pic of the Week"). The staff and volunteers of Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge look forward to another productive year for the ospreys, and we thank you for joining us in this exciting wildlife adventure.
