Web Server Move on March 20

The web host for the Friends of Blackwater website has asked if they can move our website to a faster server because of the heavy traffic we generate due to the popularity of the cams.

On Monday morning at 6:30AM EST, they will move our site from one server to another. We are taking several measures to reduce any access problems this might generate. If all goes well, any access issues should be resolved in about an hour.

We chose to move the site early Monday morning because we have a small amount of usage then, but I know some folks are tuned in (especially some of our European visitors), so if you have any problems seeing the cams, remember that you can also view them at our partner site WildCam.com. You have to register on their site, but it's free.

If you experience problems on our site after 9AM EST on Monday morning, you can drop me a note, although we are told that any disruptions should be short term.
