2006 "Name the Osprey Chicks" Competition

The Friends of Blackwater are proud to announce the start of our 2006 Name the Osprey Chicks Competition.

The contest begins on July 1, 2006 and will end at midnight on July 14, 2006 (EDT).

The contest will be hosted at our partner site: WildCam.com.

You will need to register to submit your names and to see what names are already taken, but registration is free, and WildCam will not share your email address with any third party. Entering the contest is free.

We are asking that each person submit no more than four names because we want to keep the number of entries to a reasonable amount for the Blackwater staff who will be selecting the winners. If you only want to submit one name, that is fine but please no more than four.

Also, you might want to check the list of entries on the WildCam site to be sure your entry isn't already taken. If two people submit the same name, only the first person will be eligible for a prize if the name is selected.

The staff at Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge in Maryland will choose the winners of the contest. Winners will receive a certificate of appreciation and a special prize, as well as recognition on our website and Wildcam's website.
