2005 Name the Osprey Chicks Competition!

The Friends of Blackwater are proud to announce the start of our 2005 Name the Osprey Chicks Competition.

The contest will begin on July 11, 2005 and will end at midnight on July 31, 2005.

Registration will be at our partner site: WildCam.com. You will need to register to submit your names and to see what names are already taken, but registration is free, and WildCam will not share your email address with any third party. If you registered with WildCam awhile back when our cam went down, you can use that registration information again.

You can submit as many names as you like for the two chicks, but only one name per entry and you might want to check the list of entries on the WildCam site to be sure your entry isn't already taken.

The staff at Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge in Maryland will choose the winners of the contest. Winners will receive a certificate and a special surprise, as well as recognition on our website and Wildcam's.

Check in on Monday at the WildCam.com home page and look for the contest link. And we hope you have fun picking out names for our two promising osprey chicks before we see them migrate to South America at the end of the summer!
